Derek meets Jack!

When we were in Houston we just had to see Jack! He has gotten so big from the baby I saw last October.

Let's hear it for the boys.....

As is evident "Big Derek" is "Little Derek's" favorite person. He is all about immitating his daddy's faces and sounds. Who can compete with that?

Aunt Stephany "The babysitter"

Stephany doesn't really care for the baby anytime he is taking attention that she believes rightfully belongs to her, but when he brings attention her way......she is all about her nephew!

Teeth for eating steak???

Well, this one is for Drew. We had steak for Randy Jr.'s 21st b-day and here is Derek taking the fork away from me. It just so happens it has a piece of steak on it!

The chompers

As I said in my previous post Derek now has two teeth. He bites!!! Me and Granny tend to disagree about why he bites. I truly believe that he bites me out frustration or dare I say meanness. However, Granny says that it is because he is about to cut more teeth. Anyway, it hurts!!!

The 411 on 4 month old Derek

When we went to the Dr. on the 6th (one day after his 4 month birthday) he weighed in at 16 lbs. 8 oz. and was 25 inches long. He is in the 75th percentile for height, the 80th percentile for weight, and the 90th percentile for head size. Way to go son, BIG BRAINS!!! He also has 2 teeth and his latest achievement is rolling over.

Paw Paw needs a bigger chair

Aunt Stephany isn't quite sure of the baby. She does however know that he shouldn't be sitting in her daddy's lap.

Bumbo Boy

The bumbo chair is the neatest device ever invented. It allows Derek to be a "big boy" and sit up all by himself. It is really cute when we sit him at the table in a chair.

Poo Poo happens

Derek makes the oddest face when doing the deed. It's actually quite embarrassing because it comes with a noise that is very distinctful, and it never fails to happen when we are in a public place (such as church).
