Happy birthday daddy!

To celebrate Derek Sr.'s 32nd birthday we went to the lake and camped out for the day. Derek Jr. had his first swim, which by the way he was not impressed by. So happy birthday daddy and here are some pictures from his special day!

A family tradition

My father is very excited about Derek Jr.'s man status, however he doesn't seem must interested with watching the Dallas Cowboys yet. It's kinda my dad watched them, I watch them, my son watches them, and now my grandson watches them kinda thing. He even bought him a new Dallas Cowboy cap. However, his seemingly disinterest in the Cowboys leads me to believe he may be following his daddy with loyalty to his native soil in being a Houston Texan.

How white trash can you get?

The answer to that question is unknown, however, Derek Jr. takes an interest in sitting in his rocking chair and swatting flies. Just kidding he actually just grabbed it from someone and we snapped a shot.

Mama's baby is growing up!

Well, we took Derek Jr. to the Dr. on the 15th and he weighed in at 20 lbs. 9 oz. and was 27 in. long. He is sitting up on his own, he will sit up for about a minute and then fall over or lean forward on his hands. He is constantly cutting teeth our sixth one is approaching rapidly. We recently thought it to be humorous to put him in one of his Aunt Stephany's diapers. Here is some new pictures for your viewing pleasure.
