We just celebrated our baby's 1st birthday. Which is kinda bittersweet because even though we enjoy his "big boyness" it is sad to see him growing up so fast! Here is glimpse of the party fun!

Well, this post is a little late as Derek's Dr appointment was about a week ago, but got some new stats to report. Two weeks from his 9 month b-day he weighed in at 23 lbs. 6 oz and 30 in long. However to the interesting competition that has existed since Derek Jr was about 3 hours old. Will he say dada or momma first? Well, about a week ago he started saying momma and will not stop!!!!! Yeah I win. However, victory was as sweet as it could have been since he said dada for the first time 2 days later. It is so cute he follows me through the house saying momma momma momomomommomomoma. Anyway, he has kept us on our toes for the last nine months but I have to say that it just keeps getting better.
